EndoVenous Laser Treatment - EVLT

Our Clinic was one of the earliest sites in Poland which introduced EVLT. Currently we have performed over 500 procedures.
EVLT is minimally invasive treatment of incopetent venous trunks. Procedure is performed in ambulatory setting and allows almost immediate ambulation after the procedure. Because there is no skin cuts nor stitches there is no need for follow up visit and stiches removal. This method provides excelent cosmetic result and little reccurence rate.

IMPORTANT: Most private health insurance companies will cover their members for EVLT treatment. Please check with your insurance provider before any operation to be sure that they will refund for the costs. We issue invoices for presentation and refund from insurance or health provider.

Drawbacks of EVLT:

Not suitable for very advanced stages of venous disease
Not suitable for very tortous main venous trunks
Thread veins may require additional sclerotherapy sessions
Redness and tenderness or numbness of thigh skin may occur as after classic surgery, those symptoms settles within couple weeks
Heavy gym workouts not advised within 2 weeks
